LYNDON COOPER

Creating better tooth replacement using digital technologies

This presentation will illustrate how digital technologies can be used today in development and delivery of tooth- and implant- supported prostheses. To meet the esthetic and functional demands for tooth replacement, from planning must be carefully integrated into the fabrication of the prosthesis. This presentation will illustrate how moving from the analog world to the virtual work through optical scanning and digital planning technologies enables the thoughtful creation of dental prostheses. By illustrating abutment design, framework design and full contour (monolithic) constructions, the spectrum of current dental needs will be addressed. The rigorous clinical evaluation of fi t, durability and esthetics must address the high standards of current clinicians and technicians.
