Professor and Head of the Department of Craniofacial Developmental Biology at Charitè - University Medicine Berlin, Campus Benjamin Franklin at Freie Universität Berlin. Education in medicine and dentistry in Göttingen and Minneapolis, graduate and postgraduate education in Anatomy at Göttingen University (Depts. of Morphology and Embryology). Specialization in Orthodontics at Göttingen University (Dept. of Orthodontics) and habilitatation (1989) at the Medical Faculty at Göttingen University. Since 1992 at Freie Universität Berlin. 1999-2007 Managing Director of the Dental Clinic. Guest Professor at University of California at San Francisco and University of Turku, Finland. Part time activity in an orthodontic practice.

Current Research: Craniofacial morphogenesis, computer-animated visualization of fetal developing processes, bridging the gap between molecular biology and morphology. Resarch in practical and innovative orthodontic therapy. Chairman of the Working Group 1 (Craniofacial Development) of the COST-action B 23.

Board member of several national and international educational institutions. Teacher in continuous education in orthodontics in intra- and extra-university institutions. Co-author of "Dynamics of Orthodontics". Member in scientific boards and President of several international congresses, President of the International Orthodontic Symposium in Prag 2004, 2006-2008. Präsident of the 10th International Symposium on Tooth Morphogenesis and Differentiation 2010 in Berlin.

Dr. Bernd Reiss

Dr. Franck Renouard

Franck Renouard is graduated of the Dental University of Paris V in 1982. He was assistant of Jean-François Tulasne in the Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Team of Paul Tessier from 1983 to 1988 in Paris. He was Responsible for the implant treatment in the Postgraduate program of Periodontic, University of Paris V between 1992 and 1997.
He has published several national and international articles and is author of a 2 Text Books with Bo Rangert. The first one  "Risk Factors in Implant Dentistry: Simplified Clinical Analysis for predictable Treatment" was published in  10 languages. He lectures intensively on Implants, Immediate loading, Biomechanics and Bone Grafting procedure.
Dr. Renouard was elected to the European Association for Osseointegration executive board in Amsterdam in 2000, and is the Immediate Past President-for the organization (2006-2008). He is active member of the Academy of Osseointegration. He is in Private Practice in Paris limited of Oral and Implant Surgery.

Dr. Franck Renouard

Dr. Diether Reusch

Dr. Diether Reusch has been active as a dental practitioner in his own office in Westerburg since 1973. Since 1993 it is run on a private basis. Apart from his outstanding manual skills and abilities as a dentist he also excels showing an unquenchable interest in the scientific development of this subject. His didactic abilities that he acquired in self-initiated training courses, partly in his own institute "Westerburger Kontakte – Akademie für synoptische Zahnheilkunde" have proven to be successful. Contributing actively to several publications and his co-authorship in the book "Rekonstruktion von Kauflächen und Frontzähnen" as well as the production of several videos have revealed a diverse experience in the editing of scientific facts. Together with Dr. Feyen and Prof. Slavicek he is responsible for the development of the Reference-Artikulator-System. His potential of practical skills and abilities linked with many years of teaching experience make it possible for him to rate and present any new development in the scientific field to the practicing dentist.

He is President of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ästhetische Zahnheilkunde e.V. (DGÄZ), a certified specialist of prosthetics within the EDA and a certified specialist of esthetics within the DGÄZ, specialist for diagnostic and therapy of functional disturbancies of the stomatognathic system within the german society for functional diagnostic and treatment (DGFDT); Initiator and lecturer of the postgraduate dental education curriculum "Aesthetic Dentistry" at the academy practice Science (APW), Lecturer at the University Greifswald for the MSc programme "Computer assisted diagnostic and treatment of functional disturbancies of the stomatognathic system", Lecturer at the Steinbeis University Berlin for the MSc programme "Implantology", Member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy Las Vegas.

Dr. Andrea Ricci

Dr. Andrea Ricci graduates from University of Perugia in 1996. After a three years training program he achieved the Certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Southern California. Since 1999 he limits his practice to prosthodontics, periodontology and implant dentistry with special emphasis to the aesthetic aspects.
Co-author of several papers published in international journals, he has lectured extensively in Europe and in the United States.

Dr. A. Ricci

Dr. Giano Ricci

Dr. Giano Ricci was born near Florence, Italy, in 1945. Upon completion of his secondary education, he received the Bachelor of Art in 1962. At seventeen years of age he entered the Florence Medical School where he graduated in medicine in 1969. He then enrolled in the University of Florence’s two year program in stomatology and received the degree of specialist in 1971.
Since periodontics became his major interest he continued his education at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. In 1974 he obtained the Master of Science in Periodontology from Boston University upon completion of a two year program. His mentors were Gerald Kramer, Henry Goldman, Myron Nevins, Walter Cohen, Morton Amsterdam, Robert Vanarsdall, Saul Schluger.
Upon his return to Italy he opened the first practice limited to periodontics throughout the country. Since then he has devoted himself to periodontal therapy along with implant therapy since 1986.

Dr. Ricci has taught periodontics at University of Pisa, Siena, Bologna and Perugia. Furthmore he has an intensive activity with private courses and continuing education programs.
He is founder of Isinago a private teaching institute where live demonstrations alternate with chair side treatment of patients performed by partecipants under his supervision.
He is president of the Florence Perio Group a Study Group which lists 120 members.
He has lectured extensively in Europe, the USA and Japan.

He is co-author of a textbook in Periodontics.
He is a contributor to Dr. Rufenacht "Fundamental of Esthetic" and to Prof. Santoro’s "Advanced Osseointegration"

Dr. Ricci’s clinical practice and clinical research is focused on long term results a of severe periodontal cases where under a strict protocol osseous surgery and regeneration of the attachment apparatus are performed. In those patients where the ultimate therapeutic approach is needed special emphasis is given to the esthetic treatment.

Dr. Giano Ricci

Katrin Rinke

Katrin Rinke is the CEO of Images + Words, an agency for marketing, communication, and service. She is coaching dentists, dental master technicians, and their teams. Her trainings focus on internal and external communication in combination with creative marketing actions and a patient-oriented service culture.
Katrin Rinke has published numerous articles in national and international journals. Moreover, she is the well-known author of two benchmarking books on communication and service, both published by Quintessenz. Since January 2006, Katrin Rinke is a member of the editorial board of the Quintessenz "TeamJournal".
Apart from her business activities, Katrin Rinke volunteers as Chairwoman of Wieder Lachen e.V. (Smile again). This association supports the survivors of domestic violence. Wieder Lachen's campaign "A new smile!" is supported by dentists and dental technicians all over Germany. They offer their skills for free, bring in their empathy and creativity, and give back a smile to those who deserve it most.

Dr. Tina Rödig graduated from University of Göttingen, Germany in 1997, where she received her doctoral degree in dentistry (Dr. med. dent.) in 1998. Since 1997, she has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry, Preventive Dentistry and Periodontology at the Dentals Clinics of the University of Göttingen, Germany.
Dr. Rödig received a specialist title in endodontology from the German Society of Operative Dentistry (DGZ) in 2005.

Dr. Rafi Romano

Dr. Rafi Romano is a graduate of the Dental Faculty, Hebrew University, Hadassah Jerusalem, where he also specialized in Orthodontics and earned his Masters Degree in Dentistry. He has a private Orthodontics Practice in Tel Aviv, specializing in adult treatment, multi-disciplinary esthetic treatment and invisible orthodontic treatment.
Until a short time ago, Dr. Romano served as the Chairman of the Israel Orthodontic Society (IOS), as well as the Secretary-Treasurer of the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry (IFED. He is an Active Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).
Dr. Romano is the editor of 2 books: "Lingual Orthodontics", published by B.C. Decker Publishing (1998); and "The Art of the Smile" published by Quintessence Publishing (2005).
Dr. Romano consults in international, world-renowned clinics, exclusively for adult esthetic orthodontics, in Kiev-Ukraine, Moscow-Russia and Bulgaria. He is consultant to many orthodontic and dental companies.
Dr. Romano lectures around the world at the most important international forums and constantly keeps abreast of all innovations in multi-disciplinary dentistry.
